Redcort Software today released Virtual TimeClock Pro 5.0.5, a maintenance update to
its award winning employee time and attendance software. Virtual TimeClock takes the work out
of tracking worker hours, overtime and leave.
Virtual TimeClock 5.0.5 is
a free maintenance release for all Virtual TimeClock 5 users. The 5.0.5 release provides
improved program reliability and is highly recommended for all users of Virtual TimeClock
Pro 5. The 5.0.5 release contains the following fixes and enhancements:

Disabled Out Status
memos are now properly removed from memo lists.

Leave Entry times can
now be created/modified using minutes or hours.

The 'User Profiles'
report is now available only to owner level users.

All entries are consistently
totaled when report selects by task or dept.

'Accrued and Used Leave'
reports properly calculate YTD hours worked when using a YTD value other than the
present date.

Changing an unsaved
report selection to 'All Workers' no longer errors if the report run without first
closing and reopening the Report Writer.

Fixed a bug that could
occasionally lead to an error when performing 1/10 hour rounding on an entry.

Leave and regular hours
entered for the same date are now totaled separately even when totaling daily hours
is selected for a report.

Selecting dates now works
reliably when the computer is using the international date format of Year/Month/Day.

Manual entries from
client computers now reactivates the dialog after selecting 'Save & Next.'

Department members can
now be immediately assigned when creating new departments on a client TimeClock.

Exporting tab-delimited
data with headers now properly tab delimits the header fields.
-
The Preferences menu
item is now properly disabled when the Administration window is open.

Deleting a task from
a client no longer errors at the server and client.
-
Editing timecard entries
now reliably displays the time worked using the current user preferences for rounding
and display.
-
Editing an inactive user
no longer defaults the user to active status.
-
Editing a part-time
worker no longer defaults the worker to full-time status.
